Are research peptides legal to purchase in the USA?

Yes. Research peptides and compounds are legal to purchase, possess, and sell in the United States when sold explicitly for in-vitro (laboratory) research purposes only. They are not controlled substances and do not require a prescription when sold for research use. However, they are NOT approved by the FDA for human consumption, and selling them as supplements or medicine is prohibited. Every product on Quebic Labs is labeled Research Use Only.

What does "Research Use Only" mean?

Research Use Only (RUO) means the compound is sold exclusively for in-vitro (outside of a living body) laboratory research. RUO products:

  • Are NOT intended for human or veterinary consumption
  • Are NOT approved by the FDA for any clinical or therapeutic use
  • Must be handled only in a proper laboratory setting by trained personnel
  • Cannot legally be administered to humans or animals
Why do I need to verify my age?

We require all visitors to confirm they are 18 years of age or older. This is both a legal requirement and a compliance measure required by our payment processors. Research compounds are not appropriate products for minors under any circumstances.

Why do I need an account to place an order?

An account is required so we can verify you meet the 18+ research use requirement and provide you with a secure record of every order. Registration takes under a minute and only requires an email address.

What payment methods do you accept?

Do you offer bulk or wholesale pricing?

Yes — for orders of 10+ vials of the same compound, contact us at our contact page for volume pricing. We work with research institutions, labs, and repeat buyers.

How do I use a discount or promo code?

At checkout, look for "Have a private code?" near the bottom of the payment section. Click it to expand the code field, enter your code, and click Apply. Promo codes are single-use and the discount will be applied automatically to your order total. The updated total will reflect immediately in your order summary.

Can I modify or cancel my order after placing it?

Orders can be modified or cancelled within 1 hour of placement by contacting us immediately at our contact page. Once an order enters processing (typically within 1-2 hours), we cannot guarantee cancellation. Please double-check your order before completing checkout.

Shipping & Delivery

How long does shipping take?

Orders process within 1-2 business days then ship via USPS Priority Mail (2-4 business days) or Priority Mail Express (1-2 business days). Total time from order to delivery is typically 3-6 business days. See our full Shipping Policy for details.

How are vials packaged for shipping?

Every order ships with secure, discreet packaging: individual vials are bubble-wrapped and protected, then shipped in a plain outer box with no company name or product description visible on the label. All compounds are lyophilized (freeze-dried) and stable at room temperature during standard transit.

How do I get free shipping?

All orders of $150 or more ship free via USPS Priority Mail. The free shipping threshold is shown in your cart as you add items. Orders under $150 ship at a flat $10 rate.

Will anyone know what's inside the package?

No. All orders ship in plain, unmarked outer packaging. The shipping label shows only a sender address -- no company name, no product description, no indication of contents. Your privacy is our priority.

Products & Quality

How do I verify peptide purity and authenticity?

Every compound we sell is independently tested by Janoshik Analytical, an accredited third-party laboratory specializing in peptide analysis. A Certificate of Analysis (COA) showing purity results (via HPLC), identity confirmation, and lot number is included with every shipment. You can view testing results on our Lab Results page and request full COAs via our contact page.

What is bacteriostatic water and how do you reconstitute peptides?

Bacteriostatic Water (BAC water) is sterile water with 0.9% benzyl alcohol added as a preservative. It is the standard reconstitution solvent for lyophilized (freeze-dried) peptide vials. If you are purchasing any peptide vial for the first time, you will need BAC water to reconstitute it before use in research. We sell 10mL and 3mL BAC water vials.

How should I store research peptides after receiving them?

Unreconstituted (lyophilized) vials: Store at -20 degrees C (freezer). Stable for 24+ months if kept properly sealed and frozen. Protect from light.

After reconstitution: Refrigerate at 2-8 degrees C. Use within 28 days. Do not refreeze. Keep away from light.

Transfer vials to the freezer immediately upon receipt if you are not reconstituting right away.

Where are your research peptides sourced and manufactured?

Our compounds are sourced from a vetted, GMP-compliant pharmaceutical manufacturer and are independently verified by a third-party U.S. lab before we list them for sale. Every lot comes with a manufacturer's spec sheet plus our own Janoshik COA. We do not source from unverified suppliers.

Do I need an account to order?

Yes — a free account is required to place an order. This lets us verify you meet the 18+ research use requirement and gives you a secure record of every order. Registration takes under a minute: just an email address and confirmation that you're purchasing for research purposes only. Once your account is created you'll have full access to order history, one-click reorders, saved shipping info, and referral credits.

How does the referral program work?

Every account gets a unique referral link. When someone clicks your link and completes their first order, you both receive $10 in account credit — automatically applied to your next order. There is no limit on how many referrals you can make. Credits never expire.

How do I delete my account?

To delete your account and all associated personal data, contact us at our contact page with your email address and a request for account deletion. We will process the request within 30 days. Note that order records may be retained for up to 7 years for tax compliance, but will be anonymized upon deletion.
